Every morning at about 6.00 I start my day with a cup of strong coffee, which I drink at my computer while checking my e-mails. At about 7.00 my wife and I take a fairly brisk walk along the beach. This normally takes about 45-50 minutes. Back home, I shower then have breakfast, which is usually a healthy smoothie consisting of one red apple, two large carrots, half a cup of blueberries and a spoonful of vitamin C (that’s for two people). This natural healthy food drink, taken regularly, adds value to my eyes, brain, heart and immune system.
By about mid morning I am starting to feel hungry. Most times I’ll have a healthy homemade biscuit and a cup of coffee. I don’t eat bought biscuits, usually made with highly processed ingredients but I enjoy one with my tea or coffee so I make my own. I use wholemeal flour mixed with brown rice flour, rice bran oil, cinnamon and natural stevia for sweetness. One egg binds the ingredients and the fillers can range from chopped peanuts, walnuts, and cranberries. I DO NOT use white flour, white sugar or salt.

Since my wife and I work from home, we have our main meal in the middle of the day.
Our normal meals would include any of the following: Fish, raw or grilled; skinless chicken. These can be stir-fried or baked using rice bran oil. For salads I use olive oil or balsamic vinegar as a dressing. Vegetables may include broccoli, carrots, spinach, brussel sprouts lightly steamed. Onions and sweet potatoes I usually roast or steam. All meals exclude salt, potatoes and white bread.
The above ingredients can be combined to make countless different meals and are designed to aid good health with a healthy supply of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, protein and a healthy balance of carbohydrates.
